Got up the earliest I ever have this morning because Kt and I decided to go to the 11:30 Madagascar rather than the later one, which I didn't have an issue with as we were meeting at 10.
Kt was only slightly late (^_~) but we had enough time to mooch around town... it can only really hold your itnerest for 45 mins and then you've discovered all there is to discover... unless you're on a second hand book hunt or something.
Went down to the cinema and there was /no one/ around... complained over the lack of a Rufus Sewell Zoro poster and then went in to see there were only three people there... how quickly that changed.
I really did think we were doomed because three little immature boys showed up and started mouthing off at all the adverts followed by the token screaming new born child who can't even see a metre in front of its face let alone the bloody screen. We just accepted it... then what comes in...? /30/ children accompanied by two adults... we were a tad disparaged to say the least...
Turns out it was just the screaming baby we had to be bothered about and the Mom left with the damn thing half way through the film anyway!
There should be some sort of rule - I don't care if it's a U rated film or not. If your child cannot sit still and maintain concentration, therefore at least needing to be 4, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THE CINEMA! The film was only 1 and a 1/2 hours long and it was crying! Try LOTR!
**Inhale**
Anyway, the film was really good, and I have a new squishy... Mort the mouse lemur... /miles/ cuter than Puss in Boots from Shrek... and wonderful ^_^ The psychotic penguins kick ass as well!
I'm getting weirdly hyper over HP... I just hope my book comes... I'm so paranoid...
"Party" tomorrow...
